A collage of three flame fractals made in Apophysis and submitted to CabinTom's "Vegetation" contest.

I love this beautifully composed piece and couldn't agree more, with the following words from the suggester: ~ "I featured Mirkwood Magic by *fractaldreamer in my latest journal on fractal scenes. And as simple as it is, I think it's one of the most beautiful fractal landscapes here on deviantART. It has such a mood of mystery to it and shows that Apophysis, can be just as good as Ultra Fractal for creating collages." (Suggested by =rocamiadesign and Featured by `Sophquest)

I think strolling through Mirkwood on a moonlit night could be a bit eerie, especially when you know that you are not alone LOL.

I don't know how the hell you make the trees in apo, but damn. Awesome man.

I don't know either. Forests and starscapes just seem to pop out for me. Seriously though...the above trees were a tweeking of my tree in "Mirkwood". That one was originally rendered with either Apo 2.02 or the Gimp flame plugin. Can't remember which because it was a few years ago. Glad you enjoyed it.

Hi! I have chosen this image as part of my journal feature of some of my favourite art. [link] If you have any objections, please let me know and I will remove it. :D
