Many of my images to date, are made up of individual flame fractals, so what you are seeing are actually "collages" of flames. Most of these flames are made in Apophysis, though a few earlier ones were made in the Gimp using it's flame plugin.

Therefore, all the elements that you see, for example, the trees, plants, stars, etc are flame fractals. I open these flames in my graphics programme and then arrange them to make the final picture. Sometimes I may place the fractals on a coloured background but I don't add any extra effects to the flames themselves as I like their purity.

As you may guess, I have a pretty vivid imagination.

Thanks so much for your lovely comment Tricia. I love your watercolour/ink paintings. They are gorgeous and look very unique. I couldn't do those

I think you are very talented so don't worry too much about the fractals. They are funny old things and are always doing things that you least expect in a way you hadn't planned (welll for me anyway).

I must find some time/inclination to apply styles* to my own. Love the header image, though that cutoff on the right detracts slightly...

Yes. You're right. It looks a bit cut off. I think there is some css padding that shouldn't be there as the image is supposed to but right up to the right hand margin. I'll have to hunt through the code and sort it out later.
